My journey with visual art began at the age of fifteen, when I discovered the quiet joy of portrait sketching — capturing faces and gifting them to friends. That simple act of giving art planted a seed that has since grown into a lifelong passion. Over the years, my practice evolved naturally, started with abstract work alive with vivid color, and eventually into acrylic painting, where I found my truest voice through wildlife subjects. A pivotal influence in my development has been Australian artist Carla Grace, whose work I encountered through social media. Now living in Australia myself, I carry her inspiration with me daily, and hope one day to thank her in person. That sense of purpose is central to my current practice. I am deeply committed to painting endangered species — not merely as subjects of beauty, but as quiet advocates for the creatures we risk losing.
